"scattered summer" 2026
A series of smaller works made in the spaces between larger paintings. Built in layers of oil, graphite, and collaged fragments of old book pages, each piece holds a passing moment: sun-faded color, loose scribbled lines, and the soft blur of long days by the water. They're quieter and more intimate than the large canvases, meant to be lived with up close.

A quieter scale of the same argument, these works extend the language of Samuelperryart. The panels layer paint, mark, and found paper against each other, memory and material pulling in different directions until something settles.
