Midnight blue held all the way to the edges, with torn gold and tan paper fragments catching light at the top like the very first evidence of morning. This one took the longest to finish — most nights in the studio end before anything resolves, and this piece is built from several of those nights stacked on top of each other, waiting for the same imagined sunrise.
