Salt_Rinsed series began during my artist residency in St. Maarten, where days were shaped by tide lines, trade winds, and the slow bleaching of color by sun and sea. Each work carries the island’s atmosphere of softened edges, weathered marks, and layers that feel rinsed, lifted, and returned by the water. Rather than depicting the landscape directly, the paintings distill its sensations: heat, glare, rhythm, and the quiet disorientation of horizon in every direction.

 

The series will be featured at the JW Marriott, inviting viewers into that same suspended, tidal space.
